soooo, I've been deep conditioning every week as planned with my own Rhassoul mix.
and I have to say my hair has started getting so much softer, I mean butter soft!
I used alot more honey, rhassould and coconut milk this time (last night), plus coconut oil and olive oil. I left it on my hair for ages!!!
My hair was really soft and this is just the second week, also more shiny and very few tangles.
I also made my hair oil and that has also helped with shine and softness.
I'll do a style tonight or so because I was so tired, and post the pics.
I like this regime, its working, I have less frizz and better wave definition.
I'll post pics tomorrow!!
Peace out
Love, coils and Lipgloss.

soooo a little change is about to come
OK so I use this more as a journal blog, but haven't been updating as often as i would like. Now that's about to change
I'm going to be putting up info on a new challenge I've set for myself: growing bigger hair!
I love my natural hair, but I have preferred in the past to do other's: my sister's or my kids, but now after seeing some pics from www.curlynikki.com and some random images of Teyana Taylor I want bigger hair! I mean I do have a big head and a big face, so I may as well balance it out with big hair, I can't wait. (Updating once aweek in line with my regime should do it.)
I've been trying some products and have narrowed down what really works for me and how often I actually have to do my hair, i.e. washing and conditioning, and I feel confident that I can really get some big-ass hair on my head.
Curly Nikki has some great tips, as does Teri from www.biracialhair.org (yes I know she is mixed race, but so what, read her story, look at her hair and realise 'hair is hair'). Youtube is also great so many to chose from, but see " S1MNICITY": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrLN_JziqD) her hair is gorgeous, and as a UK natural she's very inspiring.
I was prompted to do this mainly because I really wanted to see what my hair can do, but also because I was telling my family recently, after getting a trim, that I wanted to really grow my hair longer now, and they asked if I was gonna get a perm! and I just thought you don't have to get a perm to have long hair! It just reinforced it for me, that I needed grow out my hair like I'd always wanted to, but to also take better care of it and show you don't need to relax to have longer hair.
So hopefully in a day or 2 I will put up my new regime and products that I'll be using on my quest for bigger, healthier hair. :)
and if you happen to have stumbled onto this page feel free to join in the challenge.

It's been a while
I'm sick, I have a yucky cold. But maybe its my body's way of saying
a: slow down
b: eat properly
or
c: what cold! man up and get on with stuff and don't find an excuse to slack!!
Anyway it's been awhile since I been on here and here's the latest:
I went to the Jodeci and Joe concert on 14th of Feb, and was very disappointed by Jodeci and happy I went to see Joe,
Started sorting out my "no Trainers" challenge (found some seriously hot clothes that work with my look)
and have found products by A'kin, that work wonders on my hair, which has grown tremendously in the nearly 2 years since I cut it all off.
I have been working extremely hard at Uni and submitting art work on Deviant Art and now I'm a producer on a new project we've started at Uni. The kids are great I'm seriously working my hustle and starting to see where I'm going.

The beginning......
And so it begins...... Lol, no really this is the start of beautiful things, hence the blog name. What I 'm tryna do here is inform, update and uplift every beautiful natural haired hot girl (in hiding or loud and proud) Also I want to hear what you gorgeous Bella's have to say about you and your swagger. OK the blog is partly selfish, I need to get out of this rut I'm in. I wear trainers EVERY DAY. And I don't mean it in a good way. What do I mean by that you ask?? Well what I mean is some days I wanna wear shoes or boots and like how I look but due to no form of quick fashion sense or fashion planning I don't wear them when I want to. Now there is nothing wrong with trainers (I own loads), but sometimes I wanna look hot in something other than trainers, and without looking like I'm trying too hard. Now I love, love, love, Fashion, clothes, shoes and make-up, but, and you should know there's gonna be a but, I buy this stuff but get so bogged down by life that I don't have the energy to try and look hot (you know making a look work in your favour, like some of these gorgeous Bella's I see everyday ). However now is the time to prioritise my time so I can really live my life to the fullest extent. Sssooooo this blog will help me balance my life of 2 kids, studying animation, managing my thick kinky coily natural hair, getting older, being an Entrepreneur, seriously working my hustle and being a true natural Bella.
What do you think Natural Bella's? How are you working your hustle this 2009?
